Optum is a global organization that delivers care aided by technology to help millions of people live healthier lives The work you do with our team will directly improve health outcomes by connecting people with the care pharmacy benefits data and resources they need to feel their best Here you will find a culture guided by diversity and inclusion talented peers comprehensive benefits and career development opportunities Come make an impact on the communities we serve as you help us advance health equity on a global scale Join us to start Caring Connecting Growing together Positions in this function are responsible for the strategic sourcing and recruitment alignment and execution to meet the needs of the enterprise This includes responsibility for diversity talent acquisition college recruiting and market intelligence This function involves the actual recruiting and selection of candidates Provides leadership to and is accountable for the performance of managers and or senior level professional staff Impact of work is most often at the operational or local business unit or market levelPrimary Responsibilities Work closely with managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the companys hiring needs for every role and to meet competitive hiring goals and expectations Manage the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open roles helping managers find hire and retain quality candidates Foster high-touch relationships using a database of qualified candidates to choose from when positions become open Partner with recruiting team and senior managers to design refine and implement innovative recruitment strategies Remain active with job boards social networks and platforms for finding quality candidates and create and post job descriptions and announcements Build a head count hiring and resource strategy and plan for all our hiring needs in India Partner with our employer brand team to establish a talent brand and diversity equity and inclusion strategy Hire lead develop and coach a talented team of recruiters ensuring hiring goals are met Maintain responsibility for full cycle recruiting for senior leadership roles Launch and Early in Career Emerging Talent Program Weave diversity equity inclusion and belonging into every step of our talent attraction sourcing hiring and onboarding experience Partner with Talent Acquisition Operations to better enable our team by building a scalable infrastructure to improve our systems and processes Partner with People Business Partners Compensation Finance Legal and other key stakeholders closely Influence senior leaders using data and talent insights Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract company policies and procedures and any and all directives such as but not limited to transfer and or re-assignment to different work locations change in teams and or work shifts policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and or work environment alternative work arrangements and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment The Company may adopt vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation implied or otherwise on its ability to do so Required Qualification Graduate degree or equivalent experience 15 years of corporate recruitment experience Intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite Word Excel PowerPoint Intermediate proficiency with ATS system Proficiency in marketing sourcing techniques to include internet college alumni interactive strategies and social media Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills At UnitedHealth Group our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone We believe everyone-of every race gender sexuality age location and income-deserves the opportunity to live their healthiest life Today however there are still far too many barriers to good health which are disproportionately experienced by people of color historically marginalized groups and those with lower incomes We are committed to mitigating our impact on the environment and enabling and delivering equitable care that addresses health disparities and improves health outcomes an enterprise priority reflected in our mission
