Cognizant delivers a trusted partnership, cost reductions and business results. ========================================================================= Track: Business Development Education: MBA, Preferred IT/ Marketing/ Finance specialization either major or secondary Location: Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad ========================================================================= Responsibilities - Understand the problem statement (RFP/ RFI) by identifying missing information and guide Business development analysts in framing appropriate queries to ferret out the missing information - Identify relevant stakeholders for the deal - Own customer presentations by laying the framework and guiding the team to create the content - Set presales standards and guidelines for the team - Assist in business process and operational process mapping - Manage the logistics and coordinate the responses leading to Bid Management in part. - Ensure that bid costs are accurately forecast & managed - Hands-on with commercial/ pricing modelling - Establish & manage pursuit calendar - Manage internal governance Solution/delivery/Business approvals and signoffs are taken before submission of proposal to the customer - Structuring the bid Templates / Formatting & Tools Solution Design & Articulation - Responsible for creation of differentiated solutions that meets the customer requirements - Assist the Business Development Partner in conducting problem definition/ solution identification workshops for customers - Detail and articulation of solutions (response to RFPs/ RFIs/ unsolicited bids etc) and ensure completeness of the (in content and in form) same - Act as a reference point / SME within the Business Development team for at least one Problem Domain and one Service Offering - Anchor problem definition/ solution identification and commercial modelling workshops for deals Collateral Management / Thought Leadership - Understand market trends and its relevance in order to seed appropriate newer Cognizant's offerings - Create and manage marketing collaterals such as Fliers, Statement of Qualifications, case studies etc. - Template Management Ensure compliance of Cognizant brand guidelines. - Prepare, update and maintain the vertical credentials and case studies of completed projects. - Formulate reusable bid components and use collaterals To achieve maximum utilization Practice Development - Discuss and understand the winning themes, SWOT and competitor analysis for the deal and prepare the opportunity overview for smaller deals - Create and update reusable artefacts - Assist in creating reusable assets/artefacts to showcase Cognizant expertise in all areas consulting, technology, outsourcing etc. Client Visit Management - Manage client visits for large / complex deals and for new logos Stakeholder Management Responsible for complete stakeholder management during entire pursuit cycle and maintain relationships with multiple entities within the ecosystem involving, Markets/Pursuit team, Solution design SMEs, Transition Office, Commercials CoE, Technology Office, Business Consulting, Professional Services and act as a bridge integrating the different stakeholders Key Skills - Strong understanding and experience in Technology Industry - Ability to work in geographically dispersed customer and project teams - Experience in Managing Business development for Large accounts - Willingness to learn, bring in new thinking, Business aptitude - Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers - Proactively communicate and collaborate with professionals and subject matter experts. Own responsibility of quality of work and completion - Talent for effectively interacting with individuals at all levels of the organization. - Ability to work within a fast-paced and constantly changing environment. - Self-motivated to work independently, with team support, to close business. - Demonstrated commitment to completing tasks and objectives. - Excellent research skills, analytical skills, client-interfacing skills, presentation skills, communication skills are a must. - Highly motivated, persistent and result-oriented. - Independent, resourceful, excellent analytical and communication skills. - Ability to perform independently - Strong expertise in MS Office ( Powerpoint, Excel and Word); - Ability and flair to do in depth secondary research and build strong understanding of industry/sub industry domain - Ability to multitask, break logjams, orchestrate discussions across large pursuit teams - Ability to thrive in chaotic and fast paced environment Domain Skills - High level understanding of the Software & Platforms and High-Tech value chain encompassing market players, customers and key offerings - Keen eye to keep track of emerging players, unicorns, decacorns and PE funding ecosystem - Fair understanding of product development and product management lifecycles across online marketplace, SaaS, FinTech, Social-Media, Search, Hi-Tech, Semicons etc. If interested, please share your CV to [Confidential Information] with email subject as Presales - Technology'
