Description

We are seeking a skilled Workshop Manager to oversee our workshop operations in India. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing a team, ensuring quality control, and optimizing workshop processes. This role requires a hands-on approach and a commitment to maintaining high standards in safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

- Oversee daily operations of the workshop, ensuring efficiency and quality of work.
- Manage and lead a team of technicians and support staff.
- Develop and implement workshop policies and procedures to improve productivity.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior staff members.
- Evaluate employee performance and provide constructive feedback.

Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 1-7 years of experience in workshop management or a similar role.
- Proficient in workshop management software and tools.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and repair processes.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
