Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Client Acquisition:
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities with importers, exporters, and other businesses requiring freight forwarding services.
- Sales & Target Achievement:
- Develop and execute sales plans, manage proposals and presentations, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients, providing consultation and ensuring their logistics needs are met.
- Market & Industry Analysis:
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging customer needs to identify business opportunities.
- Contract Negotiation:
- Negotiate rates, terms, and service agreements with potential and existing clients to close deals effectively.
- Operational Coordination:
- Collaborate with operations, sales, and finance departments to ensure seamless delivery of services and provide customer support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3 - 4 years prior industry related business development experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
- Focused and goal-oriented
