We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Vice President - REGULATORY GOVERNANCE

Business: Finance Function

Location (Country / City): Gurgaon / Chennai, India

Principal responsibilities

- Manage targeted reviews for internal assurance across various areas including Group Regulatory Returns such as COREP, Leverage etc. including interpretation of key policies, Q&As and compliance of operational implementation/logics set in the system.
- Pro-active identification of the issues, raising it at the right forums and working closely with BAU teams to understand and opine for a timely resolution.
- Playing a key role in the quarter end process and assisting in review and challenge of the Group Assurance pack, Annual Report and Accounts, Pillar 3 disclosures and other artefacts.
- Managing group errors and escalations, aligned to the Materiality Framework.
- Engaging with 2LOD/3LOD where necessary on ongoing audits, acting as a Regulatory SME and supporting central co-ordination where necessary.
- Collaboration and co-ordination with Group and Regional teams on regulatory matters and findings.
- Keeping up to date with regulatory consultation papers and assist the team with interpreting current and upcoming regulatory requirements.
- Presenting key findings to senior stakeholders and address their queries/comments to facilitate effective review.

Requirements

- Previous experience in Finance within a global organisation, working across cultures is essential.
- Proven experience in a role responsible for regulatory reporting to the regulators.
- Proven experienceandexpertise in reporting, knowledge of current regulatory rules, Basel 3 Reforms/B3.1 regulatory knowledge and executing and delivering complex solutions for the stakeholders
- Ability to present complex issues confidently and concisely, using simple language and accommodating globally distributed senior stakeholders is essential.
- Ability to work under pressure, report to tight deadlines and deal effectively with issues as they arise
- Excellent Microsoft office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, word, Visio)
- Previous exposure to the Business Risk and Control Management/Chief Control Office would be beneficial but not essential.
- Previous experience within a Audit capacity would be advantageous.
