The Zonal Business Head FMCG oversees the business operations sales performance and market development of a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods FMCG company within a specific geographical zone e g South North West India They ensure efficient distribution retail execution and profitability across multiple regions and teams Key Roles and Responsibilities 1 Sales Revenue Management Drive zonal sales targets and ensure monthly quarterly and annual revenue goals are achieved Monitor primary and secondary sales data and take corrective actions when needed Ensure effective sales forecasting and demand planning 2 Channel Distribution Management Expand and manage a strong distributor and retailer network Ensure product availability visibility and placement across all sales channels traditional trade modern trade e-commerce Streamline supply chain coordination to minimize stock-outs and overstocking 3 Team Leadership People Management Lead and manage a team of Regional Sales Managers Area Sales Managers and Field Sales Executives Provide coaching training and performance reviews to build a high-performing sales team Promote team alignment with organizational goals 4 Market Expansion Strategy Execution Identify and develop new market opportunities and underperforming territories Launch and execute promotional campaigns and new product introductions Work closely with the marketing team to tailor campaigns as per zonal needs 5 Retail Execution Excellence Drive in-store execution standards planogram compliance visibility elements merchandising Ensure effective implementation of trade schemes and consumer promotions 6 Business Planning Budgeting Prepare annual business plans and budgets for the zone Monitor zone-level profitability cost control and ROI on initiatives 7 Data Performance Analysis Analyze sales trends market feedback and competitor activity Generate and present reports to national leadership for strategic decisions 8 Compliance Governance Ensure adherence to company policies commercial practices and legal compliances Handle customer grievances and critical operational issues swiftly and effectively Key Skills Required Strong FMCG sales and distribution knowledge Excellent leadership and communication skills Analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making Experience managing large field teams and multiple territories High adaptability in a fast-paced and competitive market Job Type Full-time Pay 35 000 00 - 50 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Experience Distribution expansion 10 years Preferred FMCG 10 years Preferred Sales 10 years Preferred Customer Interaction 10 years Preferred Team management 10 years Preferred Work Location In person
