Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our sales team and focus on generating new business opportunities in India and the US. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and qualifying leads, initiating contact with potential clients, and setting up meetings for the sales team. This role requires strong communication skills, a keen understanding of sales processes, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients and business opportunities in India and the US through various channels, including online research, social media, and industry events.

- Outbound Outreach: Conduct outreach via email, phone calls, and social media to engage with prospects, introduce our solutions, and generate interest.

- Qualify Leads: Assess the needs and potential of leads to determine their suitability and readiness for a sales conversation, ensuring high-quality prospects for the sales team.

- Appointment Setting: Schedule and coordinate meetings or product demonstrations for the sales team with qualified leads.

- CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions with prospects and track lead progress in the CRM system.

- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align lead generation efforts with overall business goals and marketing campaigns.

- Market Understanding: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to effectively engage with prospects and position our solutions.

Qualifications:

- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a sales development or lead generation role, preferably in the technology sector. Experience with the Indian and US markets is a plus.

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and persuade prospects effectively.

- Sales Skills: Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques, with a track record of successfully generating and qualifying leads.

- Tech Savvy: Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other sales tools.

- Self-Motivated: Highly motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

- Cultural Awareness: Sensitivity and understanding of cultural differences and business practices in both India and the US.

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. MBA is a plus.
