Job Description Key Responsibilities 1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition - Manage end-to-end recruitment for retail, showroom, manufacturing, and corporate roles. - Develop manpower plans in coordination with department heads. - Source, screen, and onboard talent with relevant jewellery or luxury retail experience. - Maintain a strong pipeline of sales executives, goldsmiths, and support staff. 2. Employee Relations & Engagement - Foster a positive and ethical workplace culture across all locations. - Address employee grievances and ensure fair handling of disciplinary issues. - Conduct employee engagement activities to enhance motivation and retention. - Ensure transparent communication between management and employees. 3. Performance Management - Implement the performance appraisal system (KPI-based for sales and operations). - Support managers in setting performance goals and evaluating results. - Recommend performance-linked incentives and recognition programs. - Identify training and development needs based on performance reviews. 4. Training & Development - Plan and organize training programs on product knowledge, sales techniques, soft skills, and compliance. - Facilitate onboarding and induction sessions for new hires. - Develop leadership programs for showroom supervisors and floor managers. 5. HR Operations & Compliance - Manage payroll processing, attendance, and leave management systems. - Ensure statutory compliance PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, Shops & Establishment Act, etc. - Maintain employee records, HRIS, and documentation in line with audit requirements. - Oversee contracts, job descriptions, and policy updates. 6. Policy Development & Strategic HR - Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and codes of conduct. - Support organizational restructuring and succession planning. - Align HR practices with business strategy and retail expansion goals. - Ensure compliance with ethical labor standards, especially in manufacturing workshops.
