HT LT Panel Cable Termination is responsible for supervising the installation and termination processes for high and low-tension panels and cables ensuring all systems are properly connected tested and compliant with safety and technical standards Responsibilities Commissioning of HT LT Panels Supervise the installation and commissioning of High Tension HT and Low Tension LT panels ensuring alignment with engineering designs and compliance with safety regulations Conduct thorough testing of HT LT panels post-installation verifying performance metrics and addressing any discrepancies to meet project standards Monitor the entire relay testing process ensuring all relays ABB Siemens GE etc are tested according to specifications and standards Cable Termination Oversight Direct the cable termination process for HT and LT systems ensuring all connections comply with technical specifications and quality standards Monitor the integrity of cable terminations promptly resolving any issues that arise to maintain system functionality and performance Monitor the cable termination and apply correct torque marking as per the drawings and project specifications System Integration and Testing Oversee the integration of HT and LT panels into existing electrical systems conducting rigorous testing to ensure all components function correctly Analyze SAT testing results to identify integration issues and implement necessary modifications to enhance overall system performance Review CRP HT panel drawings for any discrepancies and verifies internal wiring against project specifications Compliance and Quality Management Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards during the installation and termination processes implementing robust quality control measures Conduct regular inspections and audits to confirm adherence to safety protocols and technical standards addressing any compliance issues to uphold high quality and safety levels Technical Documentation Maintain accurate and comprehensive technical documentation related to HT and LT panel installations and cable terminations including installation procedures testing results and performance evaluations Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and meets regulatory and project requirements providing essential records for compliance and auditing purposes Safety Culture Development Foster a strong safety culture at project sites by ensuring adherence to workplace safety standards and SOPs throughout the installation and commissioning processes Monitor for 0 ZERO accidents and Lost Time Injuries LTIs during the execution of HT and LT panel installation and cable termination activities Regulatory Monitoring and Reporting Stay informed about new regulations and ensure their adoption in ongoing projects especially regarding HT LT systems Prepare and submit regular reports on the status of installations terminations compliance checks and any incidents or issues encountered Technical Support and Troubleshooting Provide expert technical support for troubleshooting issues related to HT LT panels and cable terminations utilizing advanced diagnostic techniques to resolve problems efficiently Collaborate with engineering teams to identify root causes of technical issues and implement corrective actions to maintain system reliability Qualifications Educational Qualifications Diploma Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering Work Experience 10-15 years of experience in HT LT panel installation cable termination and testing for electrical systems Proven track record in leading and supervising teams for commissioning activities In-depth knowledge of safety protocols and quality control Strong practical knowledge of electrical installations cable termination and testing procedures Proficiency in relevant electrical codes and standards
