Job Description

Job Title: Solar Sales Engineer

Location: Gurgaon, Haryana

Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in solar installation and operations management

Industry: Renewable Energy / Solar Power

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Solar Sales Engineer with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in solar system installations and operational management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project coordination, sales lead conversion, client relationship management, and ensuring timely and quality execution of solar projects in the Gurgaon region.

Key Responsibilities:

Generate and follow up on sales leads for rooftop and ground-mounted solar power systems (residential, commercial & industrial).

Conduct site visits and assess technical feasibility for solar installations.

Design and propose customized solar solutions, including system sizing and ROI analysis.

Prepare and deliver accurate technical presentations and commercial proposals to clients.

Coordinate with installation teams and vendors to ensure timely project execution.

Supervise on-site work and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Manage all local operations including logistics, client communication, and documentation.

Provide after-sales support and handle service-related issues.

Regularly report sales progress and project updates to management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or relevant field.

Minimum 2 years of experience in solar power system sales, installation, and operations.

Strong knowledge of solar components, system design, and installation processes.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD (basic), and solar simulation software (PVsyst, Helioscope preferred).

Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.

Willingness to travel within the Gurgaon and nearby regions.

Preferred:

Prior experience working with government tenders or industrial clients.

Knowledge of net metering processes and local DISCOM regulations.

Salary: As per industry standards + incentives
