Job Role Data Centre Facilities HeadNo Of Positions 01DC facility Infra 6 nos Jio DC 6x60000 sq ft white space 5x21 MW 1x10 Power capacity 2 nos NIC DC 2x10000 sq ft white space 2x2 MW Power capacity Total O M Manpower - 260 On roll - 40 nos Off Roll 220 nos Spread across Navi Mumbai Jamnagar Nagpur Bhubaneswar HyderabadLevel Grade AVP VPJob Mandate DC Critical Facility Operations and maintenance management of Utility Equipment Incident management Problem management Change management Performance management Capacity management Customer management Microsoft others Budget and Opex management Performance improvement Escalation Handling Team management Experience in mission critical Facilities Audit and compliances for TIA 942 ISO 20k ISO 27K ISO14001 ISO 45001 SOC Aadhar Key Accountabilities Responsibilities Responsible for management of power design delivery and installation HVAC systems operation security and service delivery Responsible for the Utility management of mission-critical Data Centre Facility Responsible for managing the overall quality and service and performance of the operation and maintenance of multiple critical facility infrastructure systems in accordance with company s policies and procedures Provide consistent leadership and support through planning communicating and managing a team of managers and professionals responsible to deliver data centre facility services Delivery of quality and consistent services and support as established by the organisation while satisfying unique local requirements managing issue resolution and ensuring proper performance reporting of key metrics Communicate the status of the operation process with Top management Work with management to coordinate projects manage capacity and optimize safety performance reliability and efficiency Refine maintenance plan schedules EPOs MOPs BCMS processes Ensure compliance with regulations and directives of regulatory agencies Maintain and renew the certifications without any non compliances Coordinate the development and build-out of the Data Centre Manage environmental resources power distribution safety security physical layout cabling racking and monitoring of data centre equipment Inventory management and stores activities Implementation of best practices in O M as well as in HSEF area Maintenance budget cost control CAPEX OPEX Vendor selections Contracts Management and manage vendor OEM service level performance Continual improvement in PUE and reliability parameters Timely recruitment and back fill Manage attrition 24x7 availability as escalation point for data centre facility issues Technical Responsibilities include installation commissioning management Operations of Electrical systems Emergency Diesel Generator sets Dynamic rotary UPS system DRUPS Static UPS Battery Banks Battery Chargers Various control system on DG and DRUPS sets HT LT Panels PCC Panels MCC Panels Power Distribution panels control system of power panels Power Lighting distribution Boards Protective relays and protection Systems Transformers HT LT switch gears BMS System HVAC System - PACs Water cooled Centrifugal Screw Chiller etc Overseeing solution engineering for Bid projects Who Can Apply Degree in Electrical Mechanical engineering and experience of 25 years or more in Operations and management preferably in data centres IT parks large mission-critical facilities in IT Telecom or other large industrial establishment Post graduation in Management Technology would be preferred Last 5 years of experience in independent management of DC for facilities of hyper scale DC Excellent understanding of data centre cooling power EHV HV LV and data communications fundamentals and Solid understanding of power design delivery and installation HVAC systems operation security and service delivery with a focus upon delivering a high level of service Superior analytical planning and problem resolution skills Demonstrated ability and willingness to take ownership and initiative to make it happen in a fast paced and complex environment Highly organized with proved project management abilities Ability to multitask establish priorities manage conflicts Should be able to handle manage staff of over 260 persons at multiple locations Location RCP Navi MumbaiReporting to DC Ops Head IT Facilities
