**Summary / Purpose of the role**

Heading/ Leading valves manufacturing - Order booking till dispatch including planning, brought out, purchase, vendor development, in house machining, assembly, testing, painting, inspection, packing and dispatch.

- **Extensive experience in the Manufacturing and Engineering industry**, with a focus on Machining, Subcontract Development, Supply Chain, Business, Excellence, and Plant Operations
- **Skilled in overseeing all aspects of Operations activities, **including Strategic Planning, purchase, new product development, Machining, Assembly, Testing, Inventory control, Stores, Quality, Supplier Management, and more
- **Demonstrating key skills and competencies in Strategic Planning & Execution, Machining (CNC, Special Purpose & Conventional), Supply Chain Management, CAPEX & OPEX Budgeting, **Vendor/Supplier Management, Manufacturing Excellence, QA & Compliance, Inventory & Stock Management, Risk Assessment & Mitigation, Six Sigma Process Improvements, Team Management & Leadership, Resource Optimization
- Successfully managed shop floor activities, adherence to quality standards, and improved production efficiency through effective workforce management and **ISO 9000 procedures implementation**
- Excellence in managing daily production operations, optimizing resource utilization, driving process improvements through hands-on expertise in **CNC Machines, Conventional Machines, and Lean Manufacturing techniques**
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams, driving process improvement initiatives, and implementing **Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Poka-yoke, 8D Format, 5S Concepts, Multi-Skilling Concept, Time & Method Study, Time Loss Analysis, Value Engineering, Value Stream Mapping, TPM & TQM, BAAN ERP Implementation, Capacity Planning, Facility Layout, Work Station Design, and Production Planning**
- Administering subcontract machining, in-house machining, assembly, **testing of different types of valves** such as Butterfly, Sluice, MDNRV, NRV, Kinetic Air valve, Foot valve, painting, crediting, packing dispatch on time to customer to meet OTIF and Sales
- Supervising various functions related to **Project Management, Stakeholder Management, Schedule Management, Cost Management, Risk Management, Quality Management, Assembly Line Testing, Safety management**
- Uphold high standards of product quality and consistency through effective quality control measures and adherence to industry standards and regulations.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with ISO and other relevant certifications.
- Lead and manage the overall operations of the manufacturing plant, ensuring smooth production processes and adherence to production schedules.
- Implement strategies to optimize production efficiency, minimize downtime, and reduce operational costs.
- Framing tie up with Suppliers and monitoring execution through Buffer Penetration Index Numbers
- Handling end to end logistics operations, including maintaining inventory records, stock control, shortages,

Pay: ₹3,000,000.00 - ₹3,500,000.00 per year
