to deliver a sustainable future for the world through science and collaboration If youre looking for a challenge and meaningful role youre in the right place About this roleAs Senior Controllers Coordinator Fixed Asset AMT Accounting Associate you will ensure accounting activity recorded within the companys records and books are accurate and complete In this role you will develop full proficiency in a range of technical processes and procedures through job-related training and on-the-job experience You will need to be able to apply knowledge of technical processes and procedures to perform a range of work assignments You need to understand how multiple teams coordinate efforts and resources to achieve objectives and be able to explain complex technical information to members of your own team and other teams It is your responsibility to provide solutions to operational or analytical problems using established procedures and practices You will serve as informal resource on analytical scientific method or operational processes for less experienced team members Your performance impacts the quality timeliness and effectiveness of your own work and your teams work You will receive supervision on new complex assignments Responsibilities - Duties projects tasks and activities you would be responsible for in this role Support Fixed asset accounting operations Review Capital Authorization requests and ensure correct classification of Capital vs Expense as per accounting policy Follow-up with Project Manager and ensure timely resolution of queries Support Fixed Asset Accountant for month close activities Check Capitalize Interest applicability for capital projects Perform project maintenance update for all capital expense project Monitor functional mailbox and allocate received requests to team members Perform above set of operational processes under a moderate degree of supervision Applies experience and skills to complete assigned work within own area of expertise Works within standard operating procedures Takes a broad perspective to problems and spots new less obvious solutions Identifies key issues and patterns from partial conflicting data Education Bachelor of Commerce MBA preferred Experience Minimum 4 years of experience in Fixed Asset Accounting Strong SAP experience Skills Competencies Works within defined technical processes and procedures or methodologies and help determine the appropriate approach for new assignments High aptitude for accounting Working experience of SAP system Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word Good communication skills Analytical skills Fluent in English written and verbal Benefits -
