Location: Hyderabad / Bangalore (Rotational Shifts)

Experience: 5+ Years

Job Summary:

Looking for a skilled MongoDB DBA to manage large-scale, distributed environments. Responsible for performance, scalability, availability, and security of mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and manage MongoDB in dev, test, and prod.
- Handle replication, sharding, backups, patching, and upgrades.
- Monitor performance and optimize queries, indexing, and schema.
- Implement HA, DR, and security best practices.
- Collaborate with DevOps and app teams for integration and tuning.
- Automate routine DBA tasks using scripting (Bash, Python).
- Participate in 24x7 support and on-call rotations.

Required Skills:

- 5–7 years as MongoDB DBA (Replica sets & Sharded clusters).
- Versions: MongoDB 5.x & 6.x
- Strong in performance tuning, backup/recovery, and Linux scripting.
- Tools: Ops Manager, Cloud Manager, Ansible, Prometheus/Grafana.
- Experience in Agile/DevOps environments.

Nice to Have:

- MongoDB Certification
- MongoDB Atlas / AWS DocumentDB experience
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, and other NoSQL/RDBMS.

Soft Skills:

- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead when needed.
