What will you be responsible for?

- You will be responsible for the overall administration, performance tuning, and security of our database systems.

- You will work closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure data availability, consistency, and integrity across environments.

- You will also proactively monitor and improve database systems to ensure optimal performance and scalability.

What do we require?

- Proven experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining database systems primarily MongoDB

- Hands-on experience managing production systems candidates must have maintained large-scale, high-availability production environments

- Strong understanding of database architecture, backup and recovery strategies, replication, and failover techniques

- Demonstrated expertise in database performance tuning and optimization

- Ability to manage and monitor large-scale production databases

- Strong knowledge in database security, role management, and access control

- Experience with data migration, upgrades, and schema management

- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes

- Ability to document database architecture, maintenance procedures, and operational best practices

- Experience in working closely with application developers to design and optimize queries and schema

Technology Essentials :

- MongoDB : hands-on experience is mandatory

- Kubernetes and AWS : must-have skills for deployment and orchestration

- SQL databases : Good to have

- Strong working knowledge of Linux and Windows environments
