Vedantu is an Indian Interactive Online tutoring platform where teachers provide tuitions to students over the internet, using a real-time virtual learning environment named WAVE (Whiteboard Audio Video Environment) a technology built in-house. It is said to operate on a marketplace model for teachers, where students can browse, discover, and choose to learn from an online tutor. It primarily provides services to students of grade 4th to 12th for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) & Central Board of Secondary Education. Currently, the company's primary business is live online tutoring in STEM, Hindi, English, Sanskrit, German, French, Environmental Science, and Social Science.
It also claims to provide test preparation courses for the Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Foundation, National Talent Search Examination (NTSE), and Problem Solving Assessment (PSA).
Job Description :
- Advise student/ parents for their learning needs through structured Counseling Sessions
- Fix appointments and conduct home demo sessions on a daily basis including follow up sessions
- Understand Customer profile & problems to explain the implication of ineffective learning methods
- Create the need for Smart Learning and advise student-parent to buy Vedantu Subscription as a solution
- Handle Objections and Price Negotiation to generate Sales Revenue
- Learn/ Upgrade one's own Product Knowledge and Sales Skills to achieve and exceed growing Sales target(s)
Requirements :
Basic Requirements :
- Good to have a 6 months - 5 years B2C or B2B sales experience
- Excellent Selling/Negotiation Skills
- Previous educational industry experience is an added advantage
- Should have Laptop and should have fast WIFI or internet connection
Note :
- Work from home till December
- 15 days of training will be provided after the joining
- Cooling period of duplicate candidates is 3 months
- Upload only updated resumes of the interested candidates
- For Bangalore, Kannada is not mandatory
- For Hyderabad, Telugu is mandatory
Desired Profile :
- Possess sound knowledge and understanding of consumer (students and parents) behavior
- Possess Basic / Good knowledge of Class 6 to 12 Subjects as per existing Curriculum
- Are keen to learn and upgrade Product knowledge from time to time for better Sales
- Enthusiastic and willing to work relentlessly for achieving and exceeding business targets
- Thrive in a fast-paced ambiguous work environment
- Have good communication skills in English
- Open to Intra-City travel to Customer Locations
