Role Overview:
The Sales Head (B2B) will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue growth, achieve sales targets, and expand the customer base within the domestic market. The role will focus on secondary sales and managing a team of sales representatives, while also building and maintaining strong customer relationships to ensure long-term satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies and business plans to achieve sales targets in the assigned region.
- Identify market opportunities, potential customers, and key competitors to inform sales strategies.
- Set sales goals, forecast sales volumes, and monitor performance against targets.
- Team Management & Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.
- Set clear expectations, provide guidance, and foster a motivated work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and mentoring to improve team capabilities.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and channel partners.
- Act as the main point of contact for major accounts, handling negotiations, and resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis:
- Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends.
- Adjust sales strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Sales Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Track sales performance and provide regular reports on activities, achievements, and challenges to senior management.
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and make strategic recommendations.
- Sales Presentations & Negotiations:
- Lead sales presentations and negotiations with key customers and prospects.
- Effectively communicate product features, benefits, and value propositions.
- Tailor proposals to meet customer needs, collaborating with internal teams for order processing, delivery, and after-sales support.
- Collaboration & Cross-Functional Teamwork:
- Collaborate with marketing, product management, and operations teams to align sales efforts with marketing campaigns and product launches.
- Provide field feedback to guide product development and improvement initiatives.
