About the Initiative

Sri City is home to world-class institutions such asKrea UniversityandIIIT, alongside a thriving industrial ecosystem. We are now launching an ambitiousUniversity Media Channel a dynamic digital platform dedicated toeducation, innovation, and human storiesfrom within Sricity and beyond.

ThroughYouTube, podcasts, and other digital channels, we aim to bridge academia, industry, and the global audience with compelling storytelling and high-quality content.

The Opportunity

This is more than a traditional role its anentrepreneurial leadership positionwhere you will:

- Shape thevision, voice, and identityof a new media brand from scratch.
- Lead thecreative and operationaldirection of the channel.
- Have access tofull funding, creative freedom, andinstitutional supportto make bold, impactful content.

You will be the driving force in telling stories that inspire, educate, and connect communities.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Direction

- Develop short educational films, human-interest features, interviews, and campus-life content.
- Script, shoot, and edit videos to professional broadcast standards.
- Produce both video and podcast/audio series.

Channel Development & Growth

- Build and evolve the brand identity.
- Grow audience reach across YouTube and other platforms with a data-driven approach.

Stakeholder Engagement

- Collaborate with faculty, students, researchers, and industry leaders.
- Forge partnerships with media networks, influencers, and community leaders to amplify reach.

Operational Leadership

- Manage budgets, timelines, and production resources.
- Oversee external creative vendors when required.

Qualifications & Skills

- Proven track record in media production, communications, and storytelling.
- Proficiency in professional video editing tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills; confident engaging with executives, academics, and students.
- Passion for education, community narratives, and impactful content.
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive in astartup-like, autonomous environment.
