We have an urgent opening in Bangalore for our client one of India's leading manufacturers of precast concrete products.
Role: Business Development Manager
Location: Bangalore
Job Overview:
The Business Development Manager will drive strategic sales growth in precast projects. This role will lead a team, develop client relationships and create long-term sales strategies to expand our market presence. The ideal candidate will combine leadership, industry insight and strong client management skills to deliver sustainable business growth.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and mentor the Business Development team to achieve sales targets.
2. Develop and implement strategic sales plans for precast projects across key markets.
3. Identify new business opportunities, build client pipelines, and expand customer base.
4. Drive brand awareness through client engagement, presentations, and industry networking.
5. Meet with clients, consultants, and developers to present Arto's precast solutions and close deals.
6. Coordinate with internal teams (design, estimation, projects) to provide accurate proposals and solutions.
7. Negotiate and finalize sales contracts with key customers.
8. Track and analyse sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to refine strategies.
9. Support operational teams with demand forecasts and sales insights.
10. Inspire the team with a performance-driven, ethical and client-focused culture.
Requirements:
1. Master's degree (MBA in Marketing preferred).
2. 10+ years of proven experience in sales (construction/precast/building material preferred).
3. Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing teams.
4. Excellent negotiation, client engagement and closing skills.
5. Analytical mindset with ability to develop data-driven strategies.
6. Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
