Job Description

We are looking for a Sales Manager to be based either in Mumbai or Ahmedabad. The candidate should have experience of business development in coastal shipping sector.

Role & responsibilities

GenerateLeads for both containerised and bulk cargo

Identify strategic clients across the country

Work on pricing

Establish and maintain good relationships with prospective / current clients as well as network partners

Provide contract-related issue resolution

Provide regular reports on sales and budget performance to senior management

Travel as required to meet with key customers, prospects, and other stakeholders across the country

Will be reporting directly to the Director Sales

The Successful Applicant

Should have good understanding of coastal shipping and inland waterways

Good contact with Shipping Lines, vessel owners, CHAs and Liner Agencies

Good knowledge of international shipping process

Should be a graduate

Should have minimum 2 years of sales experience in coastal shipping
