Halder Venture Limited is a leading rice and edible oil manufacturing company with a legacy dating back to 1924. Headquartered in Kolkata, West Bengal, the company has a global presence across Europe, Asia, and Africa, supported by four manufacturing units located across West Bengal.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role in Kolkata, West Bengal. The person will be responsible for the following:
- Lead the launch of the rice consumer brand in modern trade, e-commerce and quick commerce channels.
- Manage sales of these rice varieties through these channels.
- Develop policies to enhance the sales of these rice varieties.
- Maintain liaison with modern trade, e-commerce and quick commerce channels.
- Support the branding/marketing team with necessary initiatives.
- Be responsible for the P&L of rice sales through the three channels.
Qualifications/Essential Skills
- Strong interpersonal and sales skills.
- Strong acumen for brand development in the food FMCG space.
- Must have experience handling food FMCG brands in the modern trade and e-commerce space.
- Bachelor's in business administration or any related field.
- MBA will be preferred.
- Having experience working on a rice brand will be a plus.
