Sales associates must also maintain a visually appealing showroom, manage transactions, stay updated on trends, and build client relationships to provide a memorable shopping experience and a premium shopping experience. Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service: Greet customers, understand their needs and preferences, and provide personalized recommendations for jewelry pieces. Product Knowledge: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of gemstones, metals, craftsmanship, current jewelry trends, and product details. Sales & Transactions: Effectively process sales, manage transactions, handle payments, and issue receipts. Showroom Management: Ensure the showroom is well-organized, clean, and visually appealing to attract customers and showcase merchandise. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, handle inquiries, and provide solutions to ensure high customer satisfaction. Inventory: Assist with managing inventory records and ensuring accurate product information is available. Teamwork: Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to overall store success. Required SkillsSales Acumen: Strong ability to sell products, negotiate prices, and close sales transactions. Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers effectively. Customer Focus: A customer-oriented approach to enhance customer satisfaction. Product Expertise: Strong knowledge of jewelry products, including gemstones, metals, and design. Attention to Detail: Meticulousness in handling products, transactions, and showroom presentation. Organizational Skills: The ability to maintain an organized and visually appealing showroom and manage inventory. Flexibility: Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. QualificationsEducation: A high school diploma or equivalent is often required. Experience: Previous experience in retail sales, luxury goods, or jewelry is often beneficial. Certifications: Gemology or related certifications can be an advantage.
