Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Tax Senior Accountant to provide US tax compliance services for our private equity and hedge fund clients. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong accounting background who is comfortable working with tax computations, financial analysis, and investor reporting. You'll be a key part of the tax department, working on a variety of projects and collaborating with other areas of the firm to ensure high-quality, timely deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

- Tax Compliance & Reporting:
- Provide US tax compliance services for private equity funds, hedge funds, and investment partnership clients.
- Work on the computation of taxable income and tax adjustments, including security analysis, tax allocations, and the preparation of US tax forms.
- Analyze transactions for US tax consequences.
- Handle tax reporting for investors and manage tax filings.
- Investor Services:
- Contribute to the timely delivery of Schedule K-1s to investors.
- Collaboration & Projects:
- Interface with other areas of the firm to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Work on various projects within the tax department, gaining cross-training and assisting in special projects as necessary.
- Deliver a high-quality product in all tasks.

About You

- Education: A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Skills:
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal).
- Strong skills in using MS Excel, including comfort with formulas, an understanding of macros, and proficiency in pivot tables.
- An intuitive and quick study of various software applications.
- Attributes:
- A proactive team player with excellent communication skills.
