Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Supervisor - Hedge Fund Accounting to join Citco's core business of Fund Administration. This role is perfect for a financial professional with a strong background in hedge fund accounting, ready to take on leadership responsibilities. You'll be instrumental in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of financial services for a portfolio of complex hedge fund clients, while also mentoring and guiding a team of fund accountants.

Key Responsibilities

- Hedge Fund Administration:
- Perform the comprehensive administration of and services pursuant to administration agreements for a portfolio of hedge funds.
- Prepare Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations, financial statements, and associated reports for larger, more complex clients, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Conduct the valuation of hedge fund portfolio holdings.
- Analyze fund performance and prepare detailed performance/P&L related reports.
- Team Supervision & Development:
- Assist the Assistant Vice President in supervising staff within an account, meticulously reviewing work performed by the team.
- Work closely with Senior Fund Accountants and Fund Accountants to manage timelines, workflows, and deliverables within agreed-upon Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Monitor the progress of (Senior)/Fund Accountants to identify areas for additional training and development, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Act as the first escalation point for internal queries, providing guidance and solutions.
- Actively participate in training and coaching staff, contributing to their professional growth.
- Client & Internal Coordination:
- Assist the Assistant Vice President in meeting client expectations by monitoring the timely delivery of daily, weekly, and monthly deliverables.
- Escalate all material issues affecting the NAV production process to the Assistant Vice President in a timely manner.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the Investor Relations group and liaise with other departments within Citco as required.
- Assist the Assistant Vice President in coordinating the Year-End process, including audit timelines, financial statement preparation, regulatory filings, and tax services.
- Support the Assistant Vice President in various capacities and get involved in special projects as needed (e.g., conversions).

About You

- Education: Degree qualified in Accounting/Finance or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Hedge Fund Accounting.
- Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
