Seeking a seasoned Senior Fund Accountant to manage complex fund structures. The ideal candidate will have expertise in private equity or fund administration, with a strong background in financial services.

The role involves maintaining books and records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring smooth execution of accounting processes. The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Accounting & Bookkeeping: Maintaining and controlling the general ledger and various sub-ledgers, preparing comprehensive financial statements and partner capital statements, processing standard and complex bookkeeping entries, and managing a full cycle of transaction activities.
  • Financial Analysis & Reporting: Preparing detailed financial data analysis to support decision-making, calculating carried interest, performance, and incentive fees, and processing payments and other transactions efficiently.
  • Stakeholder & Project Management: Acting as a day-to-day contact for stakeholders, participating in implementing new fund structures into the accounting system, and proactively identifying and escalating material issues that affect service delivery.

About You

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent qualification is required. You should have at least 3-4 years of experience in accounting within the financial services sector, particularly in Private Equity, Asset Management, or Fund Administration.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP is essential, along with strong experience in reviewing and preparing general ledgers and financial statements.
  • You should possess sound judgment, strong problem-solving, and analytical skills, with excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
