Job Description

Position: Store Officer;

Responsible for managing inventory, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the efficient operation

of a store / warehouse in Kalwakurthy Village of Telangana. This includes receiving, storing, and distributing goods, as well as implementing and maintaining

inventory management systems. Also to ensure compliance with safety regulations and coordinating with other departments.

Key Responsibilities: Job Description

Inventory Management:

Overseeing stock levels, tracking inventory movement, and conducting regular stock checks to identify discrepancies.

Receiving and Storage:

Receiving incoming products, verifying them against purchase orders, and ensuring proper storage and organization of items

As per the Integrated Management Systems on quality, safety and environment procedures.

Distribution and Issuance:

Fulfilling requisition orders, issuing goods to authorized personnel, and maintaining records of all transactions.

Record Keeping:

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of inventory, including quantities, locations, and movements, using inventory

management systems.

Compliance:

Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and relevant quality standards.

Reporting:

Preparing reports on Stock levels as per ROL /ROQ and on inventory levels, stock movement, and other store-related daily/ monthly stock

reporting activities.

Coordination:

Liaising with other departments, such as procurement, production, and logistics, to ensure smooth operations.

Manpower Supervision Skills:

Effective utilisation of manpower in planning and assigning tasks to complete 100%

Safety and Security:

Maintaining a safe and secure environment within the store area, including proper handling and storage of materials.

Skills and Qualifications:

Computer Skills: Proficiency in using inventory management MS Office/software and other relevant computer applications.

Manpower managing Skills: Effective utilisation of manpower in planning and assigning tasks to complete 100%

Communication Skills: Effective communication with colleagues, suppliers, and other departments.

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies, address issues related to stock levels, and handle any

challenges that may arise.

Knowledge of Safety Regulations: Understanding of relevant safety regulations and procedures.

Physical Stamina: Ability to perform tasks that may involve lifting, carrying, and moving items.
