The Opportunity

India is an important growth market for Arup. Arup India has experienced significant increase in clients, projects, and people in the last 3 years. There is a strong pipeline of work, and the expectation is that India will continue to grow at pace. The HR Business Partner will play a key role in laying the foundations and partnering the business to enable sustainable growth across the three offices within India; Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore.

The HR Business Partner will be based within our office in Bangalore and will work with business leaders and deliver against all areas within the talent strategy to enable growth. Reporting to the IMEA People Partner the ideal candidate will be able to deliver local solutions and contribute to wider initiatives around Employee experience, engagement, training and development as well as advising on performance management, talent management and reward.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to partner as a trusted advisor but also comfortable providing challenge to drive performance and foster a positive culture. The talent agenda will be key to enable growth; the successful candidate will be integral to talent identification and development to ensure the right people and skills are in place for future success.

- Have operated as a HR Business partner in a complex matrix organisation with a focus on operational excellence and delivery
- Have a growth mindset, a high level of curiosity flexibility in their approach.
- Are creative problem solvers with a high level of initiative and a sense of personal accountability
- Are highly skilled at relationship management with senior stakeholders and be used to resistance to change
- HR professional qualification or equivalent experience
