Job ID 202125 Required Travel Minimal Managerial - No Location India- Pune Amdocs Site Who are we Amdocs helps those who build the future to make it amazing With our market-leading portfolio of software products and services we unlock our customers innovative potential empowering them to provide next-generation communication and media experiences for both the individual end user and enterprise customers Our employees around the globe are here to accelerate service providers migration to the cloud enable them to differentiate in the 5G era and digitalize and automate their operations Listed on the NASDAQ Global Select Market Amdocs had revenue of 5 00 billion in fiscal 2024 For more information visit In one sentence We are seeking a talented and motivated DevOps Admin with 4-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team The ideal candidate will be well-versed in AWS cloud technologies and a broad range of DevOps tools and practices You will play a crucial role in developing deploying and maintaining our cloud infrastructure enabling continuous integration and delivery and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our applications What will your job look like Infrastructure Management Design build and maintain scalable secure and cost-effective AWS cloud infrastructure using services such as EC2 S3 RDS Lambda VPC CloudFormation and IAM Continuous Integration and Deployment CI CD Develop and maintain CI CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins GitLab CI or AWS CodePipeline to automate application build test and deployment processes Configuration Management Utilize tools like Ansible teraform for automated configuration management infrastructure provisioning and application deployment Monitoring and Logging Set up and manage monitoring alerting and logging frameworks using tools like CloudWatch Prometheus Grafana ELK Stack Elasticsearch Logstash and Kibana and Datadog to ensure system performance reliability and availability Security and Compliance Implement best practices for cloud security including identity and access management data encryption and vulnerability management Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements Automation and Scripting Write scripts in Python Bash or other languages to automate repetitive tasks infrastructure provisioning and application deployments Collaboration Work closely with development QA and operations teams to support a DevOps culture promote best practices and enhance the overall software development lifecycle SDLC Incident Management and Troubleshooting Respond to system outages incidents and performance issues conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent future occurrences Documentation and Training Create and maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure processes and procedures Provide guidance and training to other team members on DevOps practices and tools All you need is Education Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field or equivalent practical experience Experience 4-5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps cloud infrastructure management and CI CD pipelines AWS Expertise Strong experience with AWS services including EC2 S3 RDS Lambda CloudFormation CloudFront VPC IAM and others DevOps Tools Proficiency Proficiency in DevOps tools such as Jenkins Git Docker Kubernetes Terraform Ansible Puppet and monitoring tools like Prometheus Grafana or ELK Stack Scripting Skills Strong scripting skills in Python Bash or similar languages Networking Knowledge Solid understanding of networking concepts including VPCs VPNs firewalls DNS and load balancers Security Awareness Knowledge of best practices in cloud security including data protection identity and access management and network security Agile Methodologies Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment Soft Skills Excellent problem-solving skills strong communication and collaboration abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues Why you will love this job Preferred Qualifications AWS Certification e g AWS Certified Solutions Architect AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes EKS and Docker Swarm Experience with Infrastructure as Code IaC tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation Familiarity with serverless architecture and microservices
