Job Title Talent Acquisition SpecialistResponsibilities 1 Talent Acquisition - Source and attract candidates through various channels including job boards social media industry-specific forums and recruitment events - Develop and maintain a network of potential candidates 2 Job Posting and Advertising - Write and post job descriptions on relevant platforms - Ensure job ads are attractive and align with the companys brand and values 3 Screening and Interviewing - Review resumes and applications to identify suitable candidates - Conduct initial phone or video interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit - Schedule and coordinate in-depth interviews with hiring managers and relevant team members 4 Collaboration with Hiring Managers - Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and job requirements - Provide guidance on market trends salary benchmarks and recruitment strategies 5 Candidate Experience - Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process - Communicate effectively with candidates regarding their application status and feedback 6 Compliance and Documentation - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions and recruitment activities - Ensure all recruitment practices comply with legal and company policies especially regarding security and confidentiality in the defense industry 7 Offer Management - Assist in the negotiation and extension of job offers - Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires including necessary security clearances and background checks 8 Continuous Improvement - Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to improve the effectiveness of the recruitment process - Stay updated on industry trends best practices and technological advancements in recruitment Requirements 1 Education - Bachelors degree in Human Resources or a related field 2 Experience - Proven 4 yrs experience as a recruiter preferably in the defence or a similar industry 3 Skills - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to assess and match candidate qualifications with job requirements - Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems ATS and recruitment software - Excellent organizational and time-management skills 4 Attributes - High level of integrity and professionalism - Detail-oriented and able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
