Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ledgers, and all transactions.

- Accounts Payable & Receivable:

Manage and process invoices, make payments, handle fee collections, and follow up on outstanding amounts.

- Budgeting:

Assist in preparing and monitoring the annual school budget and provide financial insights for strategic planning.

- Payroll Administration:

Process employee payroll, including managing deductions and generating payslips.

- Reconciliation:

Perform month-end and year-end bank statement and petty cash reconciliations.

- Financial Reporting:

Prepare regular financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for management and audit purposes.

- Compliance:

Ensure the school adheres to all applicable financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.

- Audit Assistance:

Support internal and external auditors by providing financial records and necessary information.

- Liaison:

Maintain professional relationships with banks, vendors, auditors, and other third parties.

Key Qualifications

- Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Commerce , ( B.Com) or a related field is typically required.

- Technical Skills:

Proficiency in accounting software (like Tally ERP), Microsoft Excel, and a strong understanding of accounting principles are essential.

- Knowledge:

Knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and PF compliance is often required.

- Soft Skills:

Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are necessary.
