Job Description Ascent Finechem is a leading specialty chemical manufacturing company supplying essential Key Starting Materials (KSMs) and API intermediates to pharmaceutical companies worldwide. We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our International Sales & Business Development efforts in the pharmaceutical intermediates sector. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ambli-Bopal, Ahmedabad, and offers a unique opportunity to drive global sales strategies, expand our international footprint, and cultivate relationships with leading pharmaceutical companies. Key Responsibilities - Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive international sales strategies to drive business growth and market expansion. - Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Identify and establish relationships with prospective clients while maintaining and enhancing connections with existing global and domestic clients. - Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to inform sales projections and identify emerging opportunities. - Performance Monitoring: Track sales metrics to ensure targets are achieved, and prepare regular presentations and dashboards for the CEO and internal stakeholders. - Travel: Represent the company at domestic and international conferences, exhibitions, and customer visits, requiring occasional travel. Must-Have Qualifications - 7 to 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical intermediates (Note: Experience as a Medical Representative is not relevant or applicable for this role). - Bachelor's degree. - Proven track record in international sales and business development within the pharmaceutical industry. - Strong understanding of pharmaceutical intermediates and API markets. - Excellent communication and presentation skills with professional fluency in English. Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering. - MBA. - Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
