Tour Planner Executive

Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and customer-oriented Travel Planner to join our team in Dakshindari Kolkata This individual will be responsible for creating customized high-quality travel itineraries for international tours ensuring an exceptional travel experience for our guests The role requires excellent knowledge of global destinations international travel regulations and the ability to craft unique memorable tour packages that meet client preferences and budgets Key Responsibilities Itinerary Creation Design detailed and personalized itineraries for international tours based on guest preferences budgets and interests Provide suggestions for destinations accommodation local tours and activities that enhance the overall experience Ensure travel itineraries comply with safety standards visa requirements and international travel regulations Tour Package Development Develop and maintain a range of travel packages catering to various international destinations incorporating popular attractions cultural experiences and unique activities Collaborate with suppliers tour operators and hoteliers to create competitive packages securing cost-effective rates Customize packages based on client preferences such as family vacations honeymoon packages adventure tours etc Client Consultation Engage with clients to understand their travel needs and preferences offering tailored travel solutions Provide expert advice on travel options visas and insurance Maintain communication with clients throughout the booking process ensuring they are fully informed and confident about their upcoming travel Vendor Management Work with international vendors including hotels airlines tour operators and transport providers to negotiate rates and ensure smooth service delivery Stay updated on new travel trends popular international destinations and the best offerings from suppliers Documentation and Coordination Prepare all necessary travel documentation for clients including itineraries booking confirmations travel insurance and emergency contacts Coordinate with vendors to ensure all aspects of the tour transport accommodation guides etc are in place Customer Service Handle customer inquiries resolve issues and address any concerns regarding their travel plans Provide ongoing support to clients during their trip to ensure satisfaction Travel Logistics Keep clients informed of any changes to their travel arrangements or external conditions e g weather cancellations etc Ensure that all logistics for the international tour such as transportation accommodation and activities are seamlessly organized Sales Marketing Support Assist in promoting new travel packages through marketing materials newsletters and social media Keep track of client preferences to suggest repeat bookings and loyalty programs Skills and Qualifications Experience Minimum of 3 years of experience in travel planning tour package creation or travel consultancy preferred Knowledge Deep understanding of international travel destinations cultures and itineraries Proficient in travel management software and tools e g Amadeus Sabre TripAdvisor Knowledge of visa processes travel insurance and global regulations Communication Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interaction Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and vendors Attention to Detail Ability to work with a high level of accuracy ensuring all travel arrangements and documents are meticulously planned and checked Problem-Solving Quick thinking and resourceful when addressing travel disruptions guest concerns or unforeseen circumstances
