Overview The Commis Chef supports the kitchen team by assisting in the preparation cooking and presentation of food to high standards This role is ideal for individuals beginning their culinary career and looking to develop skills under the guidance of experienced chefs Key Responsibilities Assist in basic food preparation including chopping peeling and portioning ingredients Support Chef de Partie and other senior chefs in cooking and plating dishes Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety following all kitchen regulations Ensure workstations are clean organized and well-stocked at all times Assist in receiving checking and properly storing deliveries Follow recipes instructions and presentation specifications set by the kitchen leadership Learn and master kitchen techniques equipment use and menu items Contribute to minimizing food waste through proper storage and portion control Perform other duties as assigned to support smooth kitchen operations Requirements Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations Passion for cooking and willingness to learn Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good communication and teamwork skills Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays A culinary qualification or ongoing training is an advantage Job Type Full-time Pay 12 000 00 - 20 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Ability to commute relocate Itanagar Arunachal Pradesh Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package Required Education Diploma Required Experience Cooking 1 year Required Language English Required Hindi Required Work Location In person
