Job Summary:

We are seeking a hardworking and enthusiastic Commis 3 to join our kitchen team. This is an entry-level position ideal for individuals who are passionate about cooking and eager to gain hands-on experience in a professional kitchen. As a Commis 3, you will assist in basic food preparation, maintain kitchen hygiene, and support the chefs in day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with basic food preparation tasks under the supervision of senior kitchen staff.
• Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment.
• Help with receiving and storing deliveries following food safety guidelines.
• Dispose of waste properly and maintain kitchen cleanliness at all times.
• Support the kitchen team during service by restocking ingredients and assisting where needed.
• Follow instructions and recipes accurately.
• Learn and apply food hygiene and safety procedures as per HACCP standards.
• Perform other duties as directed by Commis 1 or Chef de Partie.

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety.
• A certificate or diploma in Culinary Arts is an advantage, but not mandatory.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from senior staff.
• Good personal hygiene and cleanliness.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with a positive attitude and a passion for food.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10, ₹12,000.00 per month
