Manage review journal entries accruals prepayments and adjustments ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards Month-End Year-End Close - Execute provide oversight to close activities including trial balance review variance analysis and preparation of financial statements within timelines Balance Sheet Reconciliations - Prepare and review reconciliations for key accounts cash fixed assets accruals intercompany etc to ensure completeness and accuracy Intercompany Accounting - Handle intercompany transactions confirmations and reconciliations in line with group policies Fixed Assets GL Maintenance - Oversee capitalization depreciation disposals and ensure correct mapping of GL accounts Compliance Audit Support - Ensure adherence to internal controls SOX ICFR and support internal external audit requirements Continuous Improvement - Identify and drive process improvements to enhance accuracy efficiency and automation in RTR operations Process Governance Oversight - Lead end-to-end RTR operations including General Accounting Month-End Close and Reconciliations ensuring compliance timeliness and accuracy Quality Assurance Controls - Establish and monitor strong control frameworks review key deliverables and ensure adherence to accounting standards IFRS GAAP and internal policies Governance Reporting - Drive structured governance through regular reviews dashboards and performance metrics to ensure transparency and control across the RTR value chain Minimum Qualifications CA CPA M-Com B-Com or Graduate in Finance Relevant years of experience in managing F A RTR processes Experience in working with an insurance client will be an added advantage Preferred Skill Set Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles GAAP and International Financial Reporting Standards IFRS Experience with accounting software like Oracle Blackline etc Computer literacy MS Excel in particular familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly and succinctly articulate issues to senior management Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail Self-starter with ability to work under own initiative Strong time management skills Integrity with an ability to handle confidential information Why join Genpact Be a transformation leader -
