Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise day-to-day warehouse/storage operations, including receiving, storing, issuing, and dispatching goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock checks, audits, and reconciliations.
- Monitor inward and outward movement of materials and ensure proper documentation (GRN, gate pass, delivery challans, etc.).
- Ensure proper labeling, stacking, and storage of materials to prevent damage and ease retrieval.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and production teams to ensure stock availability and timely supply.
- Implement and monitor FIFO/LIFO inventory methods, safety standards, and cleanliness of the storage area.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports on inventory status, stock levels, and discrepancies.
- Identify and report slow-moving, obsolete, or damaged stock.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations related to storage and material handling.
- Train and supervise store assistants or warehouse staff, ensuring operational efficiency and discipline.
