Role Overview
We are looking for a Business Development Executive (BDE) who can help us expand our client base internationally. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying potential clients (wedding filmmakers, studios, and photographers), building relationships, and converting leads into long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Research: Work with research interns or independently to identify potential clients through LinkedIn, wedding filmmaker forums, Instagram, YouTube, and wedding industry directories.
- Outreach & Sales: Connect with prospects via email, LinkedIn, and calls. Present Wedditors.com services effectively and persuasively.
- Client Relationship Management: Build long-term partnerships by understanding client needs, addressing concerns, and ensuring smooth onboarding.
- Market Expansion: Explore new geographies (US, UK, Australia, Europe, etc.) and identify industry events, associations, or platforms for potential partnerships.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with the production/editing team to ensure client expectations are well-communicated and met.
- Targets & Reporting: Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets, maintain CRM records, and report growth metrics.
Key Qualities We're Looking For
- Excellent communication and written English (client-facing role).
- Prior experience in sales, business development, or account management (creative/media industry experience is a plus).
- Strong research and networking skills.
- Confidence in conducting online meetings and pitches with overseas clients.
- Self-driven, proactive, and target-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or email outreach platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 24 years of experience in sales or business development (creative or SaaS/agency background preferred).
- Knowledge of the wedding industry or creative services outsourcing will be an advantage.
