Job Title Sales Head - Mobile Tower Construction Heavy MachinesLocation City State Department SalesReports to Director of Sales Chief Sales OfficerPosition Type Full-timeJob Summary The Sales Head for Mobile Tower Construction Heavy Machines is responsible for leading the sales team developing strategic sales plans and driving revenue growth within the mobile tower construction and heavy machinery sectors This role involves managing key accounts building strong customer relationships and ensuring the successful achievement of sales targets Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve business objectives and revenue targets within the mobile tower construction and heavy machinery markets Team Leadership Lead mentor and motivate a high-performing sales team Provide guidance training and support to ensure team members achieve their sales goals Market Analysis Conduct market research to identify trends opportunities and competitive landscape Use insights to inform sales strategies and business development activities Key Account Management Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients including telecom companies construction firms and heavy equipment buyers Serve as the primary point of contact for major accounts Sales Planning Develop sales plans including target setting territory management and sales forecasting Monitor and adjust plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes Proposal Development Oversee the preparation and presentation of sales proposals and bids Ensure proposals meet client requirements and highlight the value proposition of the company s products and services Negotiations Lead contract negotiations with clients ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that support long-term relationships and business growth Product Knowledge Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company s products including mobile towers construction equipment and heavy machinery Stay informed about industry advancements and emerging technologies Collaboration Work closely with other departments including marketing engineering and customer service to ensure alignment and support for sales activities Reporting Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management highlighting performance metrics market insights and strategic recommendations Compliance Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies industry regulations and legal requirements Qualifications Education Bachelors degree in Business Engineering Marketing or a related field MBA or advanced degree is preferred Experience Minimum of 8 years of sales experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the mobile tower construction heavy machinery or related industries Skills Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication negotiation and presentation abilities In-depth understanding of the mobile tower construction and heavy machinery markets Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite Certifications Relevant industry certifications are an advantage Personal Attributes Strategic Thinker Ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans to achieve business goals Results-Oriented Strong focus on achieving measurable results and continuous improvement Customer-Focused Commitment to understanding and meeting the needs of clients Adaptable Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and customer requirements Collaborative Team player with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Benefits Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses Health dental and vision insurance Retirement plan with company match Paid time off and holidays Professional development and training opportunities
