Urgent required South Indian chef in The shalimar hotel private limited:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Prepare a wide range of South Indian dishes, including dosas, idlis, vadas, curries, and chutneys, while adhering to authentic recipes and flavors.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using traditional cooking methods, spices, and ingredients characteristic of South Indian cuisine.
- Manage food preparation and cooking processes to meet quality and safety standards, ensuring dishes are served promptly and at optimal temperatures.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan and develop new menu items, incorporating innovative twists while maintaining the essence of South Indian cuisine.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of ingredients, spices, and supplies specific to South Indian dishes, placing orders as needed.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in proper techniques and presentation of South Indian dishes.
- Ensure a clean and organized kitchen workspace, following hygiene and sanitation guidelines.
- Regularly review and refine recipes to enhance taste, presentation, and efficiency, while accommodating dietary preferences and restrictions.
- Maintain awareness of food trends and customer preferences, making adjustments to the menu as necessary.
- Work closely with restaurant management to ensure seamless kitchen operations, effective communication, and guest satisfaction.
**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
