**What does a Sales Coach do?**

The responsibilities of a sales coach greatly depend on the organization one would be working for. Mostly, they design and develop team and individual training programs, mentor new salespeople, and prepare educational materials on sales techniques. A sales coach guides the sales team by improving their skills and motivating them to deliver results.

Sales coaches are also responsible for defining strategies and focussing on activities that help the sales team of the organization achieve better and faster results.

**Job brief**

Our company is on the lookout for a Sales Coach to join our sales team. You will be responsible for training the company’s sales representatives. You must be able to ensure that the sales team under your supervision should learn advanced sales techniques. You must also be able to motivate colleagues of different seniority levels.

**What you’ll do (Key deliverables)**
- 1. Identify areas of improvement in the sales team
- Monitor sales performances of various employees
- Train new hires in the sales team
- Organize coaching sessions and develop training programs
- Maintain a healthy relationship with employees and be approachable with any sales-related issues.
- Work on budgets with the sales team
- Gather feedback after training sessions
- Stay up-to-date with market trends
- Design and present reports to the sales manager

**Minimum qualifications/ Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, human resources, or related field
- 5+ years of experience as a sales coach, sales trainer
- Proficient with sales procedures and the best practices
- Strong leadership and training skills
- Knowledge of high-performance management methods
