What you will be doing

Provides technical support activities for a software production processing environment.
- Detects, diagnoses and reports related problems.
- Provides consultation to internal users with regard to software capabilities and use.
- Follows escalation procedures, when appropriate, to resolve incidents, problems or known errors in a timely manner.
- Uses appropriate diagnostic tools to isolate and resolve incidents, problems or known errors.
- Assists development teams in requirements definition, system design and delivery of projects.
- Verifies technical specifications for development projects.

What you bring:

- 7 to 10 years of IT experience in a technical Application production support role or equivalent with background in Unix/Linux
- Good Knowledge in Unix commands and Unix Shell Scripting
- Experience with shell scripting
- Excellent communication skills and client facing roles
- Hands-on knowledge of Oracle, and using SQLPLUS
- Familiarity with common networking practices
- Knowledge of ITIL production support best practices
- Flexibility and Availability to work in rotational shifts and weekends
- Willing to work in 24X7 shift
