The role you're describing involves managing and supporting the BlackLine Account Reconciliation System, with responsibilities spanning security, data management, and reporting. **Key Responsibilities**:
- **System Administration**:
- Oversee the BlackLine Account Reconciliation System, including security configurations, exchange rates, and reassignments.
- Manage data within the system and ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- **Support for Accounting and Finance Teams**:
- Provide General Ledger, Security, and Reporting support during the month-end close and throughout accounting periods.
- Address any issues or queries from accounting and finance teams.
- **Query and Data Management**:
- Create and manage queries, ensuring the accuracy of existing queries and tables used within the system.
- Maintain system documentation and controls to ensure data integrity.
- **Ad-hoc Projects and Analysis**:
- Assist with various projects and analyses as needed, demonstrating flexibility and problem-solving skills.
**Must-Have Skills**:
- **BlackLine System Expertise**:
- Experience as a BlackLine System Administrator or Local Administrator is crucial for managing and optimizing the system.
- **Technical Proficiency**:
- **Communication Skills**:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with IT, finance teams, and management.
- **Organizational and Analytical Skills**:
- Strong time-management, attention to detail, and analytical skills are essential for handling multiple tasks and ensuring data accuracy.
