**Job Title**: Tool Room Operator/Supervisor

**Experience**: 5-10 years in Sheet Metal Tool Manufacturing, with knowledge and experience in operating Lathe, Surface Grinder, Milling Machine.

**Salary Range**: ₹20,000 - ₹30,000 for 8 hours, with additional overtime pay of ₹3,000 to ₹4,000 for 3.5 hours, resulting in a total of ₹29,000 to ₹43,000 for 11.5 hours.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Tool Room Operations**:

- Operate and maintain various machinery and equipment in the tool room, including Lathe, Surface Grinder, and Milling Machine.
- Set up, adjust, and calibrate machines to ensure proper functioning and accurate production of tool components.
- Fabricate, modify, and repair tooling components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
- **Supervision and Team Leadership**:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of tool room operators and technicians.
- Assign tasks and prioritize workload to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to junior staff members.
- Monitor performance, conduct evaluations, and provide feedback to support professional development and growth.
- **Quality Control**:

- Inspect finished tooling components for quality and accuracy, ensuring they meet customer requirements and specifications.
- Implement quality control measures and procedures to maintain high standards of craftsmanship and precision.
- Identify and address any issues or deviations from quality standards, taking corrective action as necessary.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce compliance with safety guidelines and procedures.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness and encourage proactive measures to prevent accidents and injuries.

**Requirements**:

- 5-10 years of experience in Sheet Metal Tool Manufacturing, with specific knowledge and proficiency in operating Lathe, Surface Grinder, and Milling Machine.
- Strong technical skills and practical experience in tool fabrication, modification, and repair.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
