Job description
- Responsible for the in-market sales achievement for east India market, through driving the growth in HoReCa FS, Retail channel (modern trade and general trade), ECOM and Industrial in the assign branches/Region.
- Identify the gap in assign branches/regional and propose ways to improve all channel especially retail channel (modern trade and general trade) and Food service customers,
- To track, monitor and analyze product, channel and customer sales trends in order to maximize sales opportunities and achieve desired sales results.
- Working with distributor sales team to ensure execution excellence in 4 key aspects i.e distribution expansion, product merchandising, on-shelf availability, and promotion activities implementation in the retail channel, and joined business plan with food service customer,
- Provide market intelligence regarding to market trend and competitor activities in the respective region and provide recommendations for follow-up action whenever required.
- 15% ECOM, 40% FS and 45% retail, Responsible to IMS drive East Area / New Importer
Job specification
- Diploma / Degree holder in Business, Marketing or related fields.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in FMCG sales and marketing, preferably from leading MNC food companies.
- Experience in Food service and Retail trade channel is desired (working experience in other Trade Channels will also be considered) and experience in working through Distributors is preferred for this position.
- Displays potential for taking initiative and with inter-personal and communication skills.
- Displays basic analytical and Problem Solving skills.
- Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, Cantonese, English, Hindi, Bengali,
- Independent, Self-motivated and determined to succeed in a challenging environment.
- Willing to travel out-station and overseas where required.
- Computer skills: PowerPoint, Words and Excel.
- Based out Kolkata location
