**Location - **Mumbai, India (Onsite)
**Job Purpose**:As a proximity HR, provide HR services & support to local business teams & to employees (onboarding, dismissals, redundancies, advises). Implement Group, Business & local HR processes, programs & plans. Support Global HRBP on global initiatives and the work in alignment with India HR teams on key programs.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Stake holder Management & Employee Connect**
- Manage the stakeholders within business and support them with their HR needs.
- Act as a primary point of contact and advisor to the business leaders as well as employees on all things HR
- Establish communication channels with employees to understand employee pulse and feed the leaders and HR COEs with valuable inputs on program improvement, retention strategies etc.
**Strategy & Planning**
- Contribute to the definition & implementation of Group and Business HR strategy & plans, according to company policies and country regulations.
- Propose and manage local plans or transversal projects to support strategies.
- Keep updated on, and comply with, local HR requirements (rules & regulations) & on local HR market trends & evolutions.
- Provide support and data to Global HRBP to perform workforce planning reviews.
**Talent Acquisition support & Onboarding**
- Coordinate with Recruitment vertical for recruitment activities and help expedite closure of high priority positions.
- Undertake HR interviews, discreet background checks on key positions.
- Implement business onboarding program and ensure new employees are onboarded in the system smoothly.
- Implement pre-onboarding program, buddy program as maybe required
**Policies, Governance and Operations**
- Implement group HR policies as well country HR polices and processes within the business & ensure adherence to these policies and practices
- Monitor non-compliances and report in a timely manner
- Ensure employee retention through creative yet feasible means.
- Undertake employee off-boarding for all voluntary as well as involuntary exits
- Advise & guide on performance improvement discussions with reporting managers in case of under performing employee.
- Undertake exit interviews and analyse and present the findings in order to ensure better employee retention
- Undertake disciplinary action procedure in case of any non compliance, integrity or discipline issues
**Talent Management**
- Ensure implementation and completion of confirmation process, annual performance review process and development conversation as well as objective setting processes
- Consolidate L&D needs and plans for the business.
**Career, mobility & Succession**
- Coordinate mobility & careers within own perimeter
- Implement internal moves within the Business and coordinate with HRBP’s for transversal moves.
**Compensation & Benefits**
- Run the Remuneration Review process in own perimeter for the population not covered by the Global HRBP's or HR shared services leader
- Participate to the Remuneration Reviews in own perimeter.
**Education & Experience**
- MBA in HR preferable
- Experience - 10 to 15 years
- Engineering, Manufacturing, EPC, Oil & Gas or Engineering Tech company experience preferred
- Experience working in matrix organization and with global teams is desirable
