**Roles and Responsibilities**
**Understanding Customer Requirements**: The pre-sales person collaborates closely with
- the sales team to gather in-depth knowledge of the customer's business challenges, goals,
- and requirements. This information forms the foundation for creating a tailored proposal
- that aligns with the customer's needs.
**Solution Design**: Based on the gathered requirements, the pre-sales professional works
- with the product development and engineering teams to design a solution that meets the
- customer's needs. They ensure that the proposed solution addresses the pain points and
- provides clear benefits and outcomes.
**Proposal Creation**: The pre-sales person is responsible for drafting the proposal
- document, which includes an executive summary, solution overview, technical details,
- pricing information, and any other relevant sections. They leverage their product knowledge
- and expertise to create a persuasive and well-structured proposal that clearly communicates
- the value of the solution.
**Customization and Personalization**: Pre-sales professionals tailor the proposal to the
- specific customer, incorporating their branding, addressing their unique challenges, and
- showcasing how the solution can bring value to their organization. This customization helps
- in establishing a strong connection and relevance with the customer.
**Collaboration with Internal Teams**: The pre-sales person collaborates with various
- internal teams, including sales, product development, marketing, and finance, to gather the
- necessary information and ensure accuracy and feasibility in the proposal. They also
- coordinate with these teams to incorporate any required changes or updates.
**Proposal Presentation and Demonstration**:In addition to creating the proposal
- document, pre-sales professionals often participate in proposal presentations and product
- demonstrations. They showcase the features and benefits of the proposed solution, address
- customer questions or concerns, and highlight the unique value proposition.
**Requirements**:
- Experience:
- 4-6 years of working software development/delivery or industry-specific experience,
- with up to 4 years of experience in product development.
- They must have handled large-scale products with a deep understanding of agile
- methodologies.
- They should have excellent client-facing and internal communication skills with a fair
- understanding of a good proposal writing experience
