Reporting to the Associate Manager, Administration, you will be responsible for the administration of Segregated Funds. You will be processing transactions for investments into segregated fund policies, reviewing paperwork and sending clarification requests to head office business partners and advisors.
**You will be accountable for**:
- Issuing and administering savings segregated funds
- Processing new deposits, and general administration for segregated funds
- Checking to ensure contracts are error free.
- Providing exceptional, professional, customer service to our internal and external customers
- Producing excellent quality; few errors; identify problems and provide possible solutions (achieving consistent excellent audit results)
- Acknowledging all inquiries within 24 hours. Consistently meets admin services standards; provides clear and concise communication.
- handling adjustments as necessary to client accounts
- Understanding pension legislation and related products (RRSP, Non-Reg RRIF, LIF)
**Required Competencies and Behaviors**:
- A background in working with Segregated Fund products or in the financial services industry preferable.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills and an ability to learn multiple computer systems.
- Strong proven attention to detail
- Pension legislation and related products (RRSP, Non-Reg RRIF, LIF) knowledge
- Self-motivated, commitment to self-development and enjoy a challenging and demanding workload.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to learn and grasp new concepts.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Able to deal with difficult situations, critical thinking.
- Strong customer service skills
- Flexible, able to accept and drive change as required.
- Able to work in ambiguous and unstructured situations.
- Education: Graduation
- Experience: 1-3 years
