**Introduction**:

- Leading definition of high level and detailed design of the product
- Leading creation and development of the Concept, End-to-End Solution including Functional and Technical designs, ensuring the architectural governance approvals are obtained.
- Designing and supporting the implementation of resilient, scalable solutions for the platform
- Produce High Level End-to-End Design documents
- Produce Detailed Component Level design
- Work with technology architects on the definition of product strategy and roadmaps
- Understand technical constraints of the environment and architecture, building this into solution design
- Produce end-to-end system designs, engaging, directing and collaborating with other internal and supplier teams as required
- Able to peer review codes will be added advantage
- Bring innovative ideas to solve technical challenges

What will you be doing?
- Understand the various phases of the software development lifecycle
- Owning engineering delivery framework, ensuring that plans are developed and tracked to appropriate standards, are integrated effectively across all engineering areas, are unambiguous and achievable, and that dependencies are clearly understood and managed
- The ability to resolve production issues escalated to you
- Experience with the full software development life cycle predominantly with agile methodologies
- Ensure that technical engineering quality standards / benchmarks are met, taking remedial action where there are quality shortfalls

**What we’re looking for**:

- Demonstrable experience in Solution Designer or Solution Architect role with strong evidence of end-to-end delivery. Ability to be able to provide succinct details in written format and verbally to Stakeholders.
- Strong evidence of design techniques covering all phases of the project lifecycle, both Agile and Waterfall.
- Ability to architect and model mission critical solutions leveraging multiple DBMS technologies i.e. Relational, No SQL.

**o Experience of following**:

- REST API design using RAML, OAS 3.x
- Micro Services
- Java, Spring MVC/SpringBoot
- Databases (RDBMS, No SQL)
- Domain Driven Design
- API Security using OAuth2/OpenID

**Skills that will help you in the role**:
- AWS knowledge/certified
- Experience of
- AWS solution delivery
- AWS knowledge including Lambda, ECS, Kinesis. Dynamo, ETL Services, Monitoring & Security
- DevOps, ELK, AppDynamics Basics
- Experience with event driven and real time architecture patterns, messaging and streaming technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis and AWS Managed Services for Kafka.
- Banking platforms
