Sales officer for modern trade
Your role involves building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders in the modern trade industry. Working closely with the Sales Manager, you'll contribute to the development and execution of sales plans tailored for modern trade channels.

**Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager to develop targeted sales plans and action strategies for the modern trade segment.
- Take ownership of sales targets specific to the modern trade accounts assigned.
- Generate new business leads and maintain existing relationships within the modern trade sector.
- Utilize the company's CRM system for efficient sales tracking and management of customer relationships.
- Oversee the end-to-end processes involved in closing business transactions with modern trade partners.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends in modern retail.
- Actively participate in presentations, trade shows, and events specific to the modern trade sector.
- Develop and maintain strong cooperative relationships with key stakeholders in the modern trade industry.
- Keep sales reports, budgets, and forecasts up-to-date, providing valuable insights for decision-making.
- Manage and maintain sales inventory tailored to the unique demands of modern trade.
- Analyze and report on sales performance and trends within the modern trade segment.

**Skills and Requirements**
- Proven track record of successful sales experience in the modern trade segment.
- Prior experience in FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry is essential.
- In-depth knowledge of modern trade sales strategies and compliance with industry regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets in the modern retail space.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills relevant to the modern trade industry.
- Excellent negotiation and consultative sales skills tailored for modern trade partners.
- Effective communication skills to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Exceptional customer service skills aligned with the expectations of modern trade partners.

**Salary**: ₹420,000.00 - ₹480,000.00 per year
