Area Sales and Marketing Officer

Key Responsibilities:
- **Sales and Relationship Management**:
- Visit existing retail partners regularly to maintain and strengthen relationships.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to expand the customer base within the Malappuram district.
- Present, promote, and sell products using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
- Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within the scheduled timeframe.
- **Market Research and Analysis**:
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competition.
- Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales, and status reports.
- **Strategic Planning and Execution**:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand the company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence in the district.
- Coordinate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and strategies.
- **Customer Service**:
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively.
- Develop long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements.
- **Reporting and Documentation**:
- Prepare regular sales and marketing reports, including sales activity, customer feedback, and market intelligence.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and transactions.
- **Product Knowledge**:
- Stay up-to-date with new products and features, and share this knowledge with customers.
- Educate customers about the features and benefits of the company’s products.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Sales Representative or similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with CRM practices along with the ability to build productive business professional relationships.
- Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.
- Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs.
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the Malappuram district.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Morning shift
Supplemental pay types:
- Commission pay
- Performance bonus
- Yearly bonus
